Christmount's Family Camp

Join us in the beautiful blue ridge mountains for Family Camp at Christmount – our national campground in Black Mountain, NC.

Family Camp allows families of every configuration to enjoy a week of summer camp together. The week will feature a mix of large group and small group activities, as well as free time for rest or exploration.

Each family unit will have their own cabin, room, or campsite!

Registration includes all lodging and most meals.

For 2024, our keynote speaker will be Rev. Traci Smith. Traci is an ordained minister, mother of three, and author of the bestselling Faithful Families series of books. Traci’s passion is helping families find times for connection and spiritual nourishment amid the hustle and bustle of daily life. 

Traci now serves as the Program Director for Family Faith Every Day, a new initiative by Chalice Media Group (affiliated with the Disciples of Christ), which recently received a $1.25 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. You can read more about that here.

Overnight Option

Monday, June 10 at 7pm through Friday, June 14 at 11am

For a Family of 2-3 members, cost is $200 per person

For a Family of 4-6 members, cost is $175 per person

For a Family of 7+ members, cost is $150 per person

Cost includes lodging, most meals, and all supplies for the week. Dinners will be on your own each evening.

Lodging Options include Camp Cabins, Guest House Suites, and Group Lodge. Each family will have their own room / space.

Tuesday through Friday

Schedule runs 8am to 1pm each day (Friday: 8am-11am)

For a Family of 2-3 members, cost is $125 per person

For a Family of 4-6 members, cost is $100 per person

For a Family of 7+ members, cost is $75 per person

Cost includes breakfast (Tues-Fri), lunch (Tues-Thurs), and all supplies for the week
